Below are the chronicles of The Enduring as told by Kevin Nillson, the patriarch of the family that crash landed on a desolate rimworld in Aprimay, 5500. Kevin was an orphan who escaped his meager upbringing through rigorous study. Kevin became a neurosurgeon on his home urbworld, and it was here that he fathered his two sons, Coleman and Tommo.

Through years of work and saving, Kevin saved enough money to transport his entire family, including his parents, siblings, and Coleman's children, to an urbworld in the Spur of Orion with a good school system. During the voyage to his new home, their ship crashes into the atmosphere of a sparsely inhabited rimworld. Kevin makes it to the escape pods with his sons and dog, but the fate of the rest of his family is unknown.
